All You Need to Know
I.M.C.F Review
Starting on a peculiar note, films initial few minutes are disappointing. Until the Title song, which is the worst Title song i have ever heard, the Direction seemed to be very immature. The characterization of Jr NTR and his friends is very common and that might irritate you. The action sequences had very unwanted and very poor special effects.
The love trial scenes around Praneetha are too impractical, yet a few dialogues were good though. Praneetha hardly had any role and somehow she didnt look good on screen. So was Samantha in the first half. In all, the first half is quite odd. Second half of the film had traces of Brindavanam, Ready and Mirchi movies. I think that helped Director to handle the film well, which made this half a bit decent.
Basic plot is new and different. An Action filled Family entertainer like which we have seen many films before. So this film might not excite you in many ways, but is a time pass flick with Brahmanandam doing his job well. Things i generally hate in Tollywood movies, which were in this film are :
1. Hero making fool of not one, not two, but almost 15 to 20 People-fearing goons around him.
2. Hero convincing the Ruthless goons who were adamant for years only with his words and simple deeds.
3. Hero hitting a guy and he goes on to hit at least 5 others, who fly away.
4. Hero hits a guy who smashes on to a Vehicle and that Vehicle loses all of its parts in that collision.
5. Hero can do anything and manipulate anyone to get what he needs!
These things are highly unconvincing to me, which make me not enjoy the movie well. Keeping aside my feelings, this film is just fine. Some liked it, while a few hated it. So, its your choice now, to see it or not!
I.M.C.F Rating : 74/100
Direction : 6 : Initial few scenes were very irritating. 2nd half is decent, but mostly copied.
Production Values : 7 : Spent high on Mega sets, but used poor visual effects and makeup's didnt suit the cast.
Story/Plot : 8 : Fresh and New to some extent, but the whole lot of it is copied and routine.
Cast Performances : 8 : NTR handled most of the film on his own. Praneetha and Samantha were disappointing. Others were fine.
Music : 6 : Such lame lyrics and music!! Even the BGM is not nice. Except for 2nd song, all others were poor.
Cinematography : 7 : Simple and just fine.
Editing/Screenplay : 8 : Neat and clear.
Choreography/Action Sequences : 7 : Choreography was utterly common. Action sequences were highly dramatic and unoriginal!
Dialogues : 8 : A few in first half with Praneetha were fine. General NTR style dialogues were ok. A few towards climax were good.
Awe Moment(s) : 9 : Emotional scene of NTR with his Parents; NTR helping unknown couple based on Samantha's call.
