I.M.C.F Review
Well... being marketed as the 150th and come back film... This film did succeed in gaining mass attention... But their initial decision of going with V.V.Vinayak itself costed them a lot i guess.
Poor timing of jokes and songs along with improper utilization, or even we can say no utilization at all... of supporting cast, especially Kajal... are the major drawbacks. Weaker screenplay, despite being a remake shows the inability of the Director, to get things done right! Choreography, Action sequences... every thing lacked something noticeable!
I have seen the Tamil version thrice myself and I have loved the emotion, romance and depth of the story, every single time. But this film fails to deliver that. Not the mistake of actors or technical team, but the whole and sole responsibility of this failure will go to the Director, who is supposed to take proper care that everything falls in place!
Overall verdict - Could have been a better bet, if Muragadoss himself made this film!
I.M.C.F Rating : 73/100
Direction : 4/10 : One of the worst takes ever, indeed.
Production Values : 7/10 : Not rich enough to be mentioned.
Story/Plot : 8/10 : Credit goes to Muragadoss!
Cast Performances : 8/10 : Chiru did very well. Others? Did anyone even had more than 3 scenes?
Music : 8/10 : Audio is definitely good.
Cinematography : 8/10 : Aerial shots, drone shots, CGI... ok ok!
Choreography : 8/10 : Has been proven that, Age is just a number for someone filled with grace.
Screenplay : 6/10 : Equally bore... as is the direction!
Dialogues : 8/10 : Ok ok... but can be a ton better!
Awe Moment(s) : 8/10 : Chiru's entrance; Chiru's first dance step; Chiru's first punch and the Video clip on farmers!
