I.M.C.F Review
A feel good movie with a story simpler than many short films, but with an entertaining screenplay and decent direction. A Directorial debut for Avasarala Srinivas, who doesnt waste his chance at any point. Being a commercial success, this film will stand a mile stone for Director and Rashi Khana. Whereas for Naga Shouraya, as his character in this film, he didnt get the recognition he would have dreamed of. He did very well with expressions, dialogues and all, but maybe another chance might help him gain some place in TFI, but thats a different story. The plot is quite simple. A boss (Srinivas), who is not so open to girls, asks his employee (Shourya) to help him out with a girl (Rashi) he wishes to marry. He offers a job in return, which is very essential to Shourya at that point of time. On accepting to help, Shourya realises that Rashi was none other than the girl whom he had loved, 5 years back, but lost contact as time passed by. So the rest of the story is how Shourya sacrifices his love and helps Srinivas with his love, just until the not-so-probable climax, where he gains his love back.
I.M.C.F Rating : 80/100
Direction : 8 : There arent many complicated scenes to be handled, but did his job very well for what is needed.Production Values : 8 : Could spend as much as needed, but a small budget film with hardly any proper costumes.
Story/Plot : 8 : A simple romantic-comedy film running around 3 characters, almost like a triangle love story!
Cast Performances : 8 : Shourya did very well. Rashi was fine. Srinivas, being experienced, did well.
Music : 8 : Only 3 different songs are made, with 1 of them repeating again. Melodious and Sweet for sure.
Cinematography : 8 : Simple, but gave some life to the film.
Editing/Screenplay : 9 : Screenplay definitely is some good stregth to this film.
Choreography/Action Sequences : 6 : No Action sequences at all. Choreography seemed very vague.
Dialogues : 9 : Dialogues are very sweet and hilarious. Not many, but the few present are fine.
Awe Moment(s) : 8 : Probably, the first scene where hero-heroine meet and fall for each other eventually.
