All You Need to Know

I.M.C.F Review
First things first... Was there really an Emperor in India who is so strong, strategic and had such a strong desire to unite the whole of India? And that too from South India? Wow! Well, obviously there should be one. Else, why would they make this film.

That very thought is making me go crazy! Truly inspirational. A winning force, driven by such a desire is not too common. He actually won the whole of India, under the Satavahana rule and even prevented Greeks from invading our Country! Wow.

And coming to the film... I dont know how that King looked, in his time... But Balakrishna Garu had been apt for his role, on screen. Shriya and Hema Malini garu did very well in their serious and emotional roles, too. Direction has been too good. With the type of resources he had, Director Krish did a great job in putting up this film, the way it is.

You might feel that CGI are a bit of a drawback, especially when some other scenes run in your mind, even if you dont intend to. But they have been OK, if not too good.

I.M.C.F Rating : 82/100
Direction : 9/10 : With what he had, he did too well.
Production Values : 7/10 : Should have spent a bit more on CGI especially when Director is so good.
Story/Plot : 7/10 : Real story might have had some depth, but the story in this movie doesnt.
Cast Performances : 9/10 : Everyone did very well.
Music : 8/10 : Suited the film.
Cinematography : 8/10 : Some shots are too good, while some are ok-ok.
War Scenes : 8/10 : Job, done well. Again... With what they had, they gave their best.
Screenplay : 10/10 : Yeah... a 10 off 10. Straight to the point. Sharp. Strong.
Dialogues : 8/10 : Just apt.
Awe Moment(s) : 8/10 : The war scenes with King Nahapana and When Satakarni becomes Gautami Putra Satakarni.
