I.M.C.F Review
Starting as a family drama, this film takes a huge leap very soon. At a point of time, you seem to understand the story, but the Director will amaze you with his never-seen-before plot. Venkatesh who said that he will mostly confine to Multi Starrers only, took a brave step to do a film like this. Though the story is a remake of a Kannada film, the Director took great care in preventing any such traces.

The plot is something like, How intelligently does a normal man save his family from an uninvited danger, with just the knowledge he has earned from moviews and life.
Venkatesh's daughter gets caught in a scandal by Police IG's (Nadhiya) son, who also misbehaves with Venkatesh's wife (Meena). In an encounter with Meena, he gets killed. So, the responsibilty of hiding the truth and saving Meena and her Daughter falls on Venkatesh, who despite being an early school dropout manages to fool everyone around him by weaving a story with the knowledge from movies. So, the rest of the story is up to what extent does Venkatesh go in the process of saving his family from Police wrath.

Any further details about the plot will take away the fun. Its one of the finest thrillers made in recent time. There are limited number of actors, but everyone did very well. Music doesnt actually exist. So are other technical departments.

I.M.C.F Rating : 81/100
Direction : 8 : A simple re-make thriller, with hardly any technicalities. Still... Job very well done.
Production Values : 7 : A small budget film with hardly any expense being shown on screen, but well made.
Story/Plot : 10 : A very well written script. Even climax doesnt disappoint us!
Cast Performances : 9 : Hardly 20 characters are present, but each and everyone did very well.
Music : 7 : Just plain music. But BGM is good.
Cinematography : 7 : Simple and just fine.
Editing/Screenplay : 9 : Will keep you excited and at the edge of your seat.
Choreography/Action Sequences : 7 : Choreography doesnt exist. Action sequences were fine with good emotion.
Dialogues : 8 : In all, they are just fine. But at some areas, they were catchy.
Awe Moment(s) : 9 : The climax is a definite point; The guessing and planning game of Venkatesh and Nadhiya.
